In association with the West Acre Theatre, the Festival is launched this year with a Charity Gala performance of Christopher Hampton’s translation of Yasmina Reza’s award-winning play ‘ART’.
‘ART’ is about art and friendship. Three close friends, Marc, Serge and Yvan, have known each other for years. One day Serge buys a very expensive painting that is basically just white. Marc calls it “a load of s**t” and, when Yvan tries to keep the peace, the dispute gets out of control and threatens to destroy their relationship.
This special charity event is the second in a run of four performances of the play by the West Acre Theatre company.
Tickets are £25 (from Ceres bookshop only not from the Theatre) and include welcome drinks and a canapé reception together with interval refreshments.
