The culmination of the month-long series of Visual Arts events is the three-day Festival Exhibition and Sale of Works of Art.
In the Festival Exhibition is a wide range of forms and media
- oils & watercolours
- mixed media & collage
- sculpture & jewellery.
Whilst there is always a strong influence of local/regional artists, the Exhibition has been very proud to display and sell works from members of the International Society of Marine Painters, the Royal Society of Arts, the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists and the Society of Equestrian Artists.
The 3-day event starts on Friday 25th October with an evening preview. Always very popular, the evening preview provides the best opportunity to reserve the works of your choice for collection at the end of the Festival Exhibition.
The Festival Exhibition has well over 120 artists exhibiting between 300 and 400 works of art. The commission on every sales goes to support the Rotary Club’s selected charities, including the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind, Dictionaries for Primary School Leavers, Shelter boxes, and Polio Eradication worldwide.
Times of Opening
Friday 25th October: Preview Evening: 7pm for 7:30pm until 10:00pm.
Saturday 26th October: 10am to 4pm
Sunday 27th October: 10am to 4pm.
Collection of purchased works: after 4.30pm or by prior arrangement.
Tickets are available in advance from Ceres Bookshop or other Festival outlets or, on Saturday and Sunday, on the door.
There is always a merry band of Rotarians on hand to sell paintings, help with queries and questions, and, as always, they are strongly supported by their partners who offer teas & coffees, homemade cakes & scones in the café.
Full details of the preview evening and the exhibition days can be found on our events pages.
